Here is an image showing the 16:9 format (image length:width ratio) option in the Lumix DMC-G3. I took it outside the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. I felt that the subject called for the semi-panoramic picture format.

I also found myself wishing for an assisted multi-image full panorama feature on the G3. Sure, I can always make them in Lightroom, but I would have used an in-camera feature here.
